CVBA + LMU = Fantastic!
In May, CVBA officers presented three empty hives and several tools to the Lincoln-Memorial University Organic Garden Project.
The bees will be active partners in the organic gardening project, which currently consists of 35 4×10 foot individual beds and a 15,000 square foot community garden.
The project is the brainchild of organic gardening expert Pat Biggerstaff of Middlesboro, Ky.
“If people like me don’t teach what I know, before long this will be a lost art,” she said.
