The University of Tennessee three-day Bee Master Course is scheduled for Sept. 23, 24 and 25 at the Treadway Fire Department. The class is being conducted by UT Professor Dr. John Skinner and State Apiarist Mike Studer.

Class hours are 6-9 p.m., Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Saturday will be a hands-on day in the bee yard.

There is a $25 deposit/registration fee per person. Class size is limited to 50 participants. The deadline for registration is Aug. 31.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Certification of Completion from the University of Tennessee.
