CVBA 2026 Festivals Volunteer Roster

We will be participating in our three, local festivals this year. Our goals are to educate the public about the value of honey bees to agriculture and their importance to our ecology, raise funds and recruit aspiring beekeepers. To achieve this, we will have booths providing information, displaying/selling bee products/CVBA merchandise, and have members available to speak with people and answer their questions.

There are 3 festivals:

Mountain Memories 2026, 49th Annual Hancock County Fall Festival. Newmans Ridge Rd. Fairground, Sneedville, TN 37869. Sat. Oct. 3rd, 9am – 5pm. Sun. Oct. 4th 10am – 5pm.

2026, 47th Anniversary, Heritage Days Festival. Downtown, Rogersville, TN 37857. Sat. Oct. 10th, 9am – 6pm. Sun. Oct 11th, 10am – 5pm.

2026 Mountain Makins Festival. Rose Center, Morristown, TN 37814. Sat. Oct. 24th, 9am – 5pm. Sun. Oct 25th, 10am – 5pm.

We need volunteers for all slots on the list that don’t already have names in them. Please fill in the form on the left selecting the dates, times/tasks you want to volunteer for. After you click the submit button, we will update this page within 24 hours to include your name on the roster. Once all the slots are filled we will send you a copy of the roster as a reminder of when and what you will be doing. If you would prefer, you can sign up in person at our September meeting or you can sign up via e-mail. Remember that volunteering at a festival, while not required, counts towards eligibility to order bees in the spring. Thanks!
